Planets can now be contested on the ground.
Unlocks the ground-war system and the infrastructure needed to take or liberate planets.
Planetary Invasion Technology opens an entire operational layer. It is worth the long research time only when troops, transports and contested colonies enter the strategy.
Invasion and liberation missions, Barracks, Bunkers, Troop Transports and advanced ground research.
Research time depends on the Research Laboratory level, the Intergalactic Research Network and the universe speed.
Each level multiplies the previous cost by ×2.5, so each further level gets steadily more expensive the further you push it.
